Proverbs 3:13-35
Happy is the man that finds wisdom and acquires understanding, for they are more valuable than silver and their revenue is better than fine gold. They are more precious than jewels. Nothing you desire compares with them.
Long life is in their right hand and in their left hand are riches and honor. Their ways are pleasant and all of their paths are peaceful. They are a tree of life to those who embrace them and those that retain them are happy.
Jehovah founded the earth by wisdom and established the heavens by understanding.
By His knowledge the watery depths are broken up and the clouds dripped with dew.
Do not let them depart from your eyes my son, maintain your competence with discretion.
wisdom and understanding will be life for you and and an adornment for your neck.
Then shall you walk safely in your way and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. You will lie down and your sleep shall be pleasant.
Do not fear sudden danger, or the ruin of the wicked when it comes, for Jehovah will be your confidence and will keep your foot from a snare.
When it is in your power, don’t withhold good from the one it belongs to. When your neighbor is there with you, don’t say: “Go away and come back later. I’ll give tomorrow” when it is there with you.
Do not plan any harm against your neighbor, for he lives by you and trusts you.
Do not accuse anyone without cause, when he has done you no harm.
Do not envy a violent man, or follow any of his ways, for the devious are detestable to Jehovah, but He is a friend to the upright.
Jehovahs curse is in the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the righteous.
He mocks those who mock, but gives grace to the humble.
The wise shall inherit honor, but He holds up fools to dishonor.
