HE TOOK ON FLESH

Since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in the same so that through death He might destroy the devil who had the power of death, and to deliver them who were in slavery all of their life through the fear of death.

So He did not take on the nature of angels, but the seed of Abraham. Therefore He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God and to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

For since He Himself has suffered being tempted, He is able to help those that are tested. Hebrews 2:14-18
