Proverbs 2:1-9
My son, if you will receive my words and hide my commandments within you, listening to wisdom and directing your heart to understanding; If you cry after insight and lift up your voice for understanding; If you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasures: Then you will understand the fear of Jehovah and discover the knowledge of God.
For Jehovah gives wisdom. From His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous. He is a shield to them who live with integrity, so He may guard the paths of justice and protect the way of His loyal followers.
Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, yes and every good path.
