Proverbs 5:1-14
Pay attention to my wisdom son, and listen closely to my understanding, so you may maintain discretion and your lips safeguard knowledge.
The lips of a forbidden woman drip with honey and her words are smoother than oil, but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood and as sharp as a double-edged sword.
Her feet go down to ruin, her steps head straight for the grave.
Her ways are unstable, she doesn’t consider the path of life.
So, listen to me my sons and don’t depart from the words of my mouth.
Stay far away from her and don’t go near the door of her house, otherwise you will give your honor to others and your years to the cruel one. Strangers will drain your resources and your earnings will end up in the house of another.
At the end of your life, when your flesh and body are consumed, you will mourn and say, “How I hated instruction and despised correction and did not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to those that instructed me! I was evil in the sight of the entire community.”
