Because of you we are killed all the day long, we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

Why do You hide Your face and forget our affliction and our oppression?
Our soul is bowed down to the dust, our belly cleaves unto the earth.
Arise for our help, and redeem us for Your mercies’ sake.
