To see what the problem was, I went through the process of entering my email address and clicking on ‘Sign me up!’ at the top of the right column on the page.
I then confirmed the subscription on the auto generated email, but when I went back to the site it hadn’t registered me.
Evidently the developer that moved the site from WordPress to my hosting account has not completed the setup.
I am sorry for the inconvenience and will have him clear it up as soon as he can. When it is fixed, I’ll reply again to this message.
